Puerto Rico

The day after Christmas we decided at 6 pm to go on a family vacation to Puerto Rico. We left 4 hours later....

Even though it was completely random, it turned out to be one of the best vacations we have ever been on. We flew into San Juan, spent the evening in town walking through the streets and touring the fort. The next day we found a tour guide, Alex, to take us on a private tour of the amazing rain forest. It was incredible..

We took a 15 minute walk into the forest. It looked like this..
After our little journey, we came across this.. Our own private river with rope swings and all. A short walk up the river had a 45 foot water fall which we jumped off of, and a natural rock slide which dropped into the river. Amazing..

The whole crew at the entrance to the fort..

This graveyard was right on the ocean front. It was surprisingly beautiful..

Old San Juan.. It had a charming feeling

Our House

Angie and I were extremely fortunate to find a cute little cottage to start off our marriage. It sits on a nice little 3/4 acre lot in Draper. I'm particularly enthused about the lot because it offers a great opportunity for QLawn to receive free publicity. We are surrounded by great people on all sides and have truly enjoyed settling into our first little place.

Me just about to carry Angie over the threshold

The first real project was getting the painting in order. We were finally getting rid of this hideous brown and changing to a more neutral orange.....

Ok, so we decided to go with the brown instead.

The yard offers everthing we need: 40 yards for chipping practice, hours worth of riding lawn mower experience, grazing land for nearby mountain deer, and one beautiful playground for our future child(ren).
